Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Crisp, even cut on a set day each week — front, back, sides, with edged borders and walks blown clean before I leave.

Weekly or bi-weekly cut with sharp blades, mulch-cut by default, bagging on request. I change cut height with the season so St. Augustine and Bermuda hold moisture through San Antonio summers and don’t get scalped. Edges sharp every visit, drives and patios blown clean before I head out.

  • Edging & Trimming

Clean, deliberate edges along beds, walks, and driveways — and string-trim around fences, posts, and trees.

Power-edged borders that stay sharp the full week, careful trim work around obstacles a mower can’t reach, and a final blow-down so nothing carries over to the patio or street.

  • Landscaping & Beds

Hand-pulled weeds, fresh mulch, shaped shrubs — beds that look like someone tends them, not just mows around them.

Hand-weeded beds (I don’t spray near edibles unless you ask), pruning timed to the plant rather than the calendar, mulch top-up every spring and fall, and shrub shaping so the front of the house actually looks finished.

  • Leaf Cleanup

Live oak leaf-drop in spring, pecan and elm in fall — bagged, hauled, and the gutters blown out from the ground.

San Antonio leaf cleanup runs spring (live oaks dropping) and fall (pecans, elms, ornamental pears). I bag and haul, blow beds and walkways, and clear ground-level gutters so the next rain doesn’t back up under the eaves.

  • Mulch Refresh

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the right depth so the beds look fresh and weeds give up.

Bulk or bagged mulch hand-spread to a consistent 2 to 3 inches around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. I pull last year’s clumped mulch first if it needs it.

  • Shrub & Hedge Trimming

Boxwood, ligustrum, esperanza, oleander — shaped right so they look intentional, not chopped.

Hand-shears for tight detail, electric hedger for the long runs. I time hard cuts to the plant’s flowering schedule so you don’t lose a season of blooms.

  • Sod Patches

St. Augustine and Bermuda patch-ins for shaded spots, dog-paths, and where the previous owner gave up.

Soil prep, light grading, fresh sod laid in a brick pattern with tight seams, rolled in, and a printed watering schedule for the first three weeks. I come back at week two to check root contact.

Starts at $350 · per visit

  • Sprinkler Check-Ups

Walk every zone, mark broken heads, adjust spray patterns, and flag the controller setting that’s burning your water bill.

Zone-by-zone walk with you watching, head replacements, broken-line repairs, controller programming for SAWS watering days, and a written list of anything bigger that needs a licensed irrigator.

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
